4 packs of matches = okay. Bic lighter = not okay.



Does this whole ban on lighters story annoy anyone else? I understand that lighters might be dangerous. Fine. I won't bring one along on my trip. But the fact that you can still carry on a ton of matches makes no damned sense. Federally regulated stupidity at its finest.



The ban does not include matches. Passengers still may carry aboard a plane up to four books of safety matches.
