Architecture to make the heart soar.

This month's Vanity Fair has a feature on the Novy Dvur monastery in the Czech Republic, designed by minimalist architect, John Pawson.

Pawson's own slideshow of his work is also stunning. It includes pictures of the monastery, as well as his own house, mentioned in the VF article. (Apparently the monks from Novy Dvur felt that his living space might be "a bit too austere" even for them.)
