Irina Werning has been a freelance photographer since 2004. Before that she was an assistant university professor in Buenos Aires, holding both a master’s degree in history and an honors degree in economics.
Her work has been published in The Sunday Times Magazine, The British Journal of Photography and La Nación, among others. In 2006, Werning won an Ian Parry Award, as well as a Gordon Foundation Grant
