V.D. (aka Vincent Delbrouck) is a photographer who works in hybrid practices, integrating personal, contextual and fictional perspectives in his intimate exploration of his life experiences and journeys, creating a vivid and lasting impression of the imaginative confusion that is inherent in any thought, recollection or projection. His first book Beyond History (Havana 1998-2006) was nominated as a finalist for the Best Book of the year in RIP Arles 2009 and was exhibited in different places around the globe. He is now working on a new book made in Nepal.
