Counting her blog Swiss Miss as a vibrant part of her business model, Eisenberg is a Swiss designer who now resides in New York City. She studied design in Geneva and Munich and has worked at several prominent NYC design firms, including Thinkmap, where she was Design Director and helped design the award-winning Visual Thesaurus. Eisenberg now runs her own studio, with recent clients including the Museum of Modern Art and the Food Network. The self-proclaimed “Swiss Miss” says, “My aesthetics reveal my Swiss roots – I am a firm believer in white space and clean, elegant design.” Tina Roth Eisenberg is a well-rounded, gregarious and energetic designer and true lover of design. She will share insights into the work she’s done in New York City and how her blog has opened many doors.

100 Young Americans

A gorgeous website and fascinating topic, giving first-person accounts of what it's like to be young in America. A teaser for a book of the same name, the site offers an annotated look at the book's contents. Absolutely captivating. This is the type of site that makes me proud to work in the web industry.


One Hundred Young Americans is the first book to paint the full picture of youth culture in America today. Gorgeously photographed and meticulously researched, this year-long project represents photographer Michael Franzini's 30,000-mile journey in search of what it truly means to be a teenager in this hyper-connected, media-driven society.

The photo was actually one in a whole series of photos I shot for a client presentation, detailing the website design / development process in a manner that was easily understandable and also fun to look at. This article takes you through that process, using the same photos. We hope you enjoy the pictures and if it also helps you to manage your workflow better if you are starting out as a web designer then that’s cool too :)
