This blog is my maternity leave hobby. While my baby is taking her nap, I create a scene around her and take quick snap photos.




I use only few minutes per picture, including creating idea, implementation and editing, 'cause I don't want to disturb her sleeping and most of my time is for my family. My camera is small and inexpensive Canon IXUS 750.

Finding a Cover for 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.'

Spending a lot of time in airports, on the street and in coffee shops in the last few weeks, I've seen this book A LOT lately. (I'm on the second book now.) The cover design is so iconic – and the series is so good – it actually lifts your heart a little to see other people reading it.

I also love that the design had enough room to become a brand for the series. I've been in/seen plenty of conversations sparked by people recognizing the design. So HUGE props to Peter Mendelsund, the designer, for a success few people ever experience.

Engagement portrait session for Kelly and Adam

As wedding photographers in West Yorkshire, it was lovely to catch up with Kelly and Adam to chat about their wedding at the end of August and their photography.  We had a very enjoyable time in the studio with them taking a few engagement portaits which helped them relax in front of the camera and have some fun.  We are very privileged that Kelly and Adam chose us as to capture their wedding day, as we were wedding photographers in Castleford for Adam's sister, Rachel, when she married Matt last year. 

We are really looking forward to sharing Kelly and Adam's wedding at All Saints' church in Castleford, followed by their celebrations at Rogerthorpe Manor in Badsworth.
