Wedding photographer in West Yorkshire

Sarah and Dean's wedding at Rogerthorpe Manor on 28 May 2010

A very busy weekend began with the celebrations of Sarah and Dean on a lovely, sunny day - just the kind of day every bride dreams of for her wedding.

We arrived at Sarah's parents' house in Sandal to document Sarah's preparations and we were greeted by a very relaxed and happy bride.  The perfume bottle says it all!  After getting some great images of Sarah's gorgeous Alfred Angelo gown, shoes and accessories, she got into her dress in good time for us to take some photographs of her and dad before we left for Rogerthorpe Manor to meet Dean.

We were just finishing off the boys' photographs when Sarah arrived, nice and early.

As Sarah and Dean had decided on an intimate wedding attended by close family and friends, the ceremony took place in the Rose Room.  The beautiful ceremony was conducted by Jane Milner from Pontefract register office - a fantastic lady who we are always delighted to see and who never fails to make the ceremony special.

Sarah and Dean are such a lovely couple and they made it clear from the start that they were happy to go along with whatever we suggested for their photographs and that the photographs were very important to them.  They were so relaxed and it was such a pleasure to work with them.

The last shots before we left included this stunning night photograph featuring Rogerthorpe Manor in the background.  Thank you Sarah and Dean for asking us to capture your wonderful wedding day.

Family and baby portrait photographers in West Yorkshire

Louise, Neil and Thomas

It was such a pleasure to hear from Neil recently when he emailed to tell us that he and Louise are now the proud parents of a lovely little boy called Thomas.  We were the photographers when Louise and Neil married at Rogerthorpe Manor back in September 2006 and we consider it a privilege that they came back to us after all this time when they wanted photographs of their baby.

Louise and Neil posed with Thomas for a few family photographs and then it was over to Thomas to take the limelight.  What a gorgeous, happy baby he is and the images capture him at such a wonderful age.

The couple have chosen a collection of beautiful images to celebrate their family and these will be framed together in one of our range of multi frames.

Rachel and Mathew's wedding at All Saints' church, Castleford and the King's Croft Hotel - 4 July 2009

Rachel and Mathew married at our local church, All Saints' in Castleford. Rachel looked every inch the fairytale bride in her gorgeous gown. Father David conducted the ceremony and his relaxed and generous approach meant that we were able to capture some beautiful moments such as when the cute little flowergirl, Tamsyn, decided to walk up the aisle and cuddle up to Mathew's legs during the wedding vows. Such wonderful moments could never be staged and this one was priceless! After a few photographs at the church, it was off to the King's Croft in Pontefract to celebrate with family and friends. Rachel and Mathew rounded off their first dance in style with a fabulous balloon drop. Capturing this takes split second timing and we hope that Rachel and Mathew are delighted with the results.
