Family Photography West Yorkshire

Zoe, John and Austin's family portrait photography

Zoe was a bridesmaid for her close friend, Sadie, when she got married in September last year.  Sadie rang us to order a portrait gift certificate for Zoe, her hubby John and their baby boy Austin.  This was Sadie's wonderful and unique bridesmaid gift to Zoe and we were very happy to finally get to meet the family when they came into the studio, having chatted to Zoe a couple of times over the phone to discuss ideas prior to the shoot.  After taking some family photographs of everyone together, it was over to Austin who is such a pleasant, happy baby.  We were looking forward to the finale to this baby portrait session very much, as Zoe had come up with the idea of a "trash the cake" shoot and as Austin loves chocolate, we knew this would make for some great images.  We don't think Austin could quite believe his eyes when a whole chocolate cake was presented to him and surprisingly he did need a bit of encouragement to dive in!  Who cares about the mess when you get images like these?  As the cake was demolished, Zoe and John started to realise just how difficult it would be to clean Austin up afterwards - even the best baby wipes are no match for a baby absolutely covered from head to toe in chocolate cake, but a quick dip in the studio sink, followed by a rub down in a fluffy yellow towel and Austin was as clean as a whistle!  A fantastic family, a gorgeous baby and a fun filled photo session.

Family portrait photographer in Castleford

Emily, Maddison, Hope, Leo and Janet

It was our pleasure to welcome this lovely family to the studio.  Having worked with them on more than one occasion in the past, it was fantastic to see them again and to meet Leo for the first time.

The idea was for us to photograph Janet's four grandchildren together - no easy task getting them all to stay where we wanted them for more than a split second!

It was slightly easier to get Janet's two eldest granddaughters, Emily and Maddison, to stay with her just long enough for us to capture them cuddling their lovely grandma.

A lively and fun session with a family who have become friends.  It was so nice to see you all again and a privilege to work with you.

Family Portrait Photographer in West Yorkshire

Testimonial

We were very happy to receive this from Neil and Louise Harrison whose wedding we photographed in September 2006 at Rogerthorpe Manor, and who brought their beautiful baby son, Thomas, to meet us recently.  It was a pleasure to photograph Thomas on his own as well as all of them as a family.

"I just thought I'd drop you a quick line to tell you how delighted we are with the photo's and to say thank you for making us so welcome.  Once again, you have produced some amazing work that we will treasure forever.  We will definitely be in touch again in the not-too-distant future when the "little man" is able to charge around under his own steam!"

Thank you Neil and Louise - we look forward very much to seeing you all again.

West Yorkshire Baby Photographers

Lucie

We were delighted to welcome Vicky and Aran and their new addition and bundle of joy - seven week old Lucie. We were the wedding photographers for Vicky and Aran at the King's Croft in Pontefract and it was a privilege to share their special day. It's even more special when couples come back to us to take photographs of the most precious thing in the lives - their new baby. Lucie is gorgeous! We spent some time taking photographs of everyone together before Lucie decided it was time for a lunch break! We thought she might have fallen asleep afterwards so that we could get some cute pictures of her on her own with no wriggles, but she wasn't having any of it! Thank you Vicky and Aran for coming back to us and allowing us to take some images for you to treasure.
