Family Portrait Photographer in Castleford

Norfolk family portrait

As portrait photographers in Castleford, it was really nice to hear from Todd and his girlfriend Dominique when they enquired about a family portrait sitting as a surprise Christmas present for Todd's parents.  Apparently, this lovely close family have photographs taken together regularly but this is the first time they have visited a photography studio and had a professional family portrait session.  Todd and Dominique booked the portrait session for straight after Christmas and it was a pleasure to welcome the six brothers and one sister, Leah, the youngest member of the family, to the studio.  They were all a joy to work with and we really enjoyed the time we spent with them all.  Here are a couple of photographs from the session, including mum Roberta's favourite.

Portrait Photographer in West Yorkshire

Portrait photography for Becky and Mark

We first met Becky when she came along with her close friend Donna whose children we have photographed on a regular basis.  Donna came in to view her children's portrait images and Becky decided to book a portrait session for herself and hubby Mark to get some lovely couple photographs of the two of them together.  The brief for the style of photography was for anything at all, as long as Becky could have black and white photographs because she loves them!  We had a really enjoyable photo shoot with Becky and Mark, switching from traditional portraiture using a black background for a low key style, to a relaxed and informal photography style with the couple sitting on the studio floor, finally finishing the session with some contemporary images using just the studio wall as a backdrop.  We ended up with a lot of great images and when Becky and Mark came in for their viewing appointment, they ended up with nine images which they loved and had to have.  One of these will be a Christmas gift for a certain special person in Becky's life (other than Mark!) and the remainder - all black and white images - will be presented in two stunning black frames with silver edging to be displayed in the couple's new conservatory which will have a black and white scheme.  We offer loads of different frames to choose from and our multi frames are extremely popular, offering fantastic value for money, as they can accommodate several images in one frame, meaning that clients don't necessarily have to narrow their choice of photograph to just one.  We were delighted with Becky and Mark's images and we look forward to presenting them with their finished framed prints.

Engagement portrait session for Kelly and Adam

As wedding photographers in West Yorkshire, it was lovely to catch up with Kelly and Adam to chat about their wedding at the end of August and their photography.  We had a very enjoyable time in the studio with them taking a few engagement portaits which helped them relax in front of the camera and have some fun.  We are very privileged that Kelly and Adam chose us as to capture their wedding day, as we were wedding photographers in Castleford for Adam's sister, Rachel, when she married Matt last year.

We are really looking forward to sharing Kelly and Adam's wedding at All Saints' church in Castleford, followed by their celebrations at Rogerthorpe Manor in Badsworth.

The Walton family portrait session

Having worked with Helen recently, it was a pleasure to welcome her back to the studio, this time with hubby Darran and their three lovely sons, for a family portrait session.  This wonderful family are a joy to work with and an absolute pleasure to photograph.  Thank you Helen and Darran for coming back to us - it was a privilege to photograph you with your amazing boys, Harry, Jack and Sam, who are such a credit to you.
