Big Cartel interview with Lillian Crowe.

The jewelry isn't my style, but it is beautiful. It's the the article itself (and the great headline) that's just gorgeous.

Antique Glass Teardrop Photo Locket.

Really lovely.

A beautifully shaped vintage looking photo locket will keep the ones you love close to your heart. Made from a glass and antique finish silver teardrop shaped locket that hangs on an oxidized sterling silver cable chain. The locket is glass on both sides and holds TWO (one for each side) portrait style photos that will be sized down to fit. The hand stamped silver word tag can be made to say whatever you want to personalize your photo locket! If you will need two silver word tags, please see the other teardrop locket listed, it will be a slightly different price.

Hangs long at about 25 inches and can include a different photo on each side. Locket measures 1.5 inches in length including clasp. Attached with a little silver bead so you can just put the necklace on over your head. No clasp.

Wing ring.

I have a soft spot for things with wings that, logically, shouldn't have wings.

Cyclops watch.

I don't wear a watch, but, if I did, it'd be a Mr Jones watch. This is a new one.

The Guardian Necklace.

This necklace is composed of a large genuine aspen leaf that has been plated in sterling silver and paried with a more petite aspen leaf that has been plated in 24K gold.

This necklace is very long (31 inches) and can wither be worn as is, where the leaves will dangle just above your belly, or, you can easily double up the chain around your neck and wear it as a multi stranded piece for added interest. Versatile and oh so stylish!

The large silver leaf measures about 2 inches and the smaller is about 1 inch. (May vary SLIGHTLY from piece to piece due to the nature of the product)

Silverplated Letterpress Necklace.

A recent work-study program at the New York Center for Book Arts yielded a treasure trove of old moveable iron type (see detail image for our current stock; this is what the type looks like before it is plated). Originally used on hand-cranked Vandercook Proof Presses, each piece of type used in these necklaces were worn out ever so slightly by normal printing use, and were consigned to a bin to be melted down and re-cast. These obsolete pieces (each measures a little under 1" long) have been rescued, plated in sterling silver, and hung from a 22" silver-plated brass figaro chain. Spring ring clasp secures chain at back.

Dogeared Jewels and Gifts.

I saw these in a little shop while I was wandering around Court Street yesterday. I wish the pictures did a better job of showing how delicate and lovely they are. Bookmark this for later when you need a lovely little gift for a niece, sis or friend.

Totally Tubular Ring.

I'm not a ring person, but, if I was, I'd buy this. Pretty, industrial and unique. I like.
