BeatUpCreations.

I've posted about this shop before, but I've got to give a personal shout out to Ms. Angela over at BeatUpCreations.

I've ordered from her Etsy shop twice now. The first time was to buy pressies for my hosts on my recent trip to England. This time, I placed a custom order for this plate. (I gave the others away and couldn't stand it - I finally had to have my own.)

Angela, you're a recycling rockstar.

Grandma's Superhero Therapy.

This is fantastic on an absolutely epic level. Be sure to click through to see more pics.

A few years ago, French photographer Sacha Goldberger found his 91-year-old Hungarian grandmother Frederika feeling lonely and depressed. To cheer her up, he suggested that they shoot a series of outrageous photographs in unusual costumes, poses, and locations. Grandma reluctantly agreed, but once they got rolling, she couldn't stop smiling.

Seedy birdhouses.

An expensive novelty at $700 a pop, but they made me smile.

70s Sci-Fi Was All About Hexagons.

So, so true.

Oh, the hexagons you’ll see, as you slurp up your soylent green and wait to be exterminated upon your thirtieth birthday. When you map out complex chemical compounds, there they’ll be. When you pour your cereal, you’ll eat it out of a hexagonal bowl. When you put on your androgynous silver jumpsuit, you’ll accessorize it with a hexagonal belt buckle.

"Talk to that Chad boy. The boy from The Shining. He knows things."

And, in case you need a daily reminder, perhaps a cross stitch will help.

Puccino’s Coffee Shops packaging.

My favorite? The sugar packet that says "Sprinkle onto shoulders of enemy."

I've got to find one of these shops in London when I'm there later this summer.
